Here are photos from the Fall season, or Autumn, as it’s called in Europe. In Nigeria, it’s simply called the Harmattan season, even though it doesn’t start in many parts of Nigeria until later in November.
They were taken from around the university campus yesterday.

It’s great to see how you notice beauty in these things, Kola, when a person who grew up in a similar landscape takes for granted and doesn’t even notice any more. Seeing these pictures made me want to go outside and see the Fall leaves anew, with a fresher kind of perception.
P.S. I’m sorry I missed you yesterday but I teach in a different building at that time. Tomorrow I’m leaving for Baltimore (my other home), but next week I’ll find you no matter what. You can run but you cannot hide! 🙂

@Clarissa :))
Thank you for the nice comment. The leaves are so pretty out that I just couldn’t stop staring at them. I know that they will all fall off soon, so I’m saving the sight of them in the camera for my own selfish pleasures.
Yea, I missed you at the office. I’d half expected not to find you there anyway, so it wasn’t too much to bear. But I had to eat the muffins I got from a student stand downstairs all by myself just before my class. Sorry! 😉
I hope you have a very nice time at home. I will spend the weekend luxuriating in my last few days of pseudo anonymity before you return from home! 😀
